Today is Laxmi Puja

Celebrated as third day of Tihar, in no moon night of oct/nov is this auspicious night. we also called it gai puja, where cow is prayed and treated as goddess laxmi, the godess of wealth and well-being. the lines of lights both oil or electrical lamps are decorated to make house bright in order to invite Mata Laxmi.
