Sexual violence in Nepal

With lots of toils and tears, I was mentally compelled to write this, the heights of cruelty. We don't even have to run back till Second World War. The cruelty and sexual violence that our mother, sister of villages of our own country went through within these 12 years long so called People’s War. The stories of these are enough to raise Goosebumps in every human being. Nor Maoist, nor policemen, nor army none of them are less in performing such dreadful act of taking away life out living females, leaving them as living dead. Some are rape in accusation of being Maoist, some are raped because of being the family members of Maoist or Army, some of raped because of spying Maoist, or some spying Army. Some are raped in front of their parents, some are raped in front of her own husband, some are raped in cow shed, some are raped in field, some are in front of their crying and weeping children. During second world war, the women being raped are from the enemies country but in our country, the women being raped are all mothers, sisters of all fighting population no matter they belong to Maoist or army or policemen; who are responsible for security and service of those victimized population. And this bitter fact is the only difference in the case of sexual violence between Second World War and this 12 years long so called People’s War.
